Experiencing Entertainment Nirvana in the U.S. West

The U.S. is a vast country. It’s the world’s third largest in terms of total area and population, at almost 10 million square miles and more than 320 million people, respectively. Due to its size, it’s no surprise that the nation has areas called Midwest, Northeast, West or East Coast and others to easily distinguish specific cities and/or states within the country.

Today, let’s experiencing entertainment nirvana in the Western part of the U.S. and it’s travel destinations which are considered must-see hotspots. These are the places you should visit at least once in your life.

Universal Studios Hollywood, Los Angeles

Entertainment Nirvana

For movie enthusiasts, Universal Studios Hollywood theme park is paradise. Aside from being a prime location for shooting movies, this theme park houses specially arranged areas that feature shows and movies like Transformers, Harry Potter, The Walking Dead and many more.

Moreover, visitors will enjoy the theme park’s rides and horror houses which were beefed up last Halloween. L.A. Magazine specified as well that Universal Studios Hollywood is now preparing for its future major attractions, including a ‘Nintendo World’ which will have themed areas dedicated to classic Nintendo titles like Super Mario, Donkey Kong, and The Legend of Zelda.

Disneyland, Anaheim

Apart from amusement rides, Disneyland has musical shows, theaters, and other attractions. One popular event is a regular parade in which several Disney characters cheerfully take to the streets, interacting with visitors young and old alike. They include iconic figures such as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck to various other fairy tale characters that have featured in from Disney shows in the past. This tradition is undertaken at many other Disney theme parks all over the globe as well, and as a testament to the joy it brings: Disneyland, no matter the location, is often dubbed ‘the happiest place on Earth’.

As well, new attractions are added regularly. In Disneyland Anaheim, Star Wars Land is one of the most anticipated attractions and The OC Register showed developments which signify that the construction process is going on relatively smoothly. An additional hotel resort is also undergoing an evaluation process which will be scheduled to be in operation by 2021, as mentioned by Fox News Travel if the project gets the green light.

The Strip, Las Vegas

Entertainment Nirvana

Sin City is famous for being labeled The Entertainment Capital of the World because of its abundance of tourist attractions related to various forms of entertainment. The Strip is an area within the city that has a concentration of venues, which host these attractions.

Primarily known for its casinos, it’s the biggest gaming hub in the Western Hemisphere. The industry, however, is experiencing declining patronage due to the emergence of digital providers which enable players to get their dose of entertainment through modern mediums like mobile devices. To give you an idea of the present landscape, the hit gaming portal Pocketfruity hosts several thematic card as well as roulette games and gives out bonuses for the enjoyment of both novice and seasoned players. The convenience and brilliant designs of these digital iterations allow them to gain worldwide attention. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that these virtual gaming machines can replace the buzz that players get when experiencing the notorious Las Vegas Strip.

Names synonymous with entertainment such as the MGM Grand, Bellagio and Caesar’s Palace are located along different parts of the Strip. The area is not exclusive to gaming, however, as all sorts of events occur here. There are magic shows, live theater performances, and high profile MMA or boxing events. Iconic celebrities from all over the world also perform in various venues along the Strip. Ringo Starr, The Beatles’ esteemed drummer, for instance, already resides in the area and is currently in discussions about a Las Vegas residency, according to the Review Journal.

These three destinations will leave you in awe of what they can offer to the modern day traveler. They are all memorable destinations that stand out for very different reasons.
